About the Author

Terry Bookman is the Senior Rabbi and spiritual leader of Temple Beth Am in Miami, Florida. Author of three books on practical spirituality and theology, as well as co-author of two CDs of contemporary Jewish music, Rabbi Bookman has been described as a ?wise and compassionate teacher? who combines knowledge from a wide variety of disciplines and religious faiths to challenge and encourage his students. The rabbi is the co-founder of Eitzah (www.Eitzah.org) The Center for Congregational Leadership whose mission it is to strengthen the capacities of congregational leaders, both lay and professional, to create effective vibrant synagogues. Rabbi Bookman is married to Karen Sobel and is the proud father of four boys.
