After the Morning

About the Book

As the debris settled after the September terrorist attacks, most of the world returned to their normal routine. Thoughts and emotions, however, cannot be so easily set right. "After the Morning" gives words to the raw pain that ripped apart so many hearts and releases those who have tried to mask their feelings. Sometimes harsh, but always honest, the poems examine nearly every angle of this American saga. Whether it be answers, inspiration or closure, anyone who knows of terrorism will find their needs met within these pages. Those who have a financial need will also benefit as the royalties are donated to families who have lost work due to the terrorist effects on the American economy.

About the Author

D. S. Hannon is an historian of Women?s and modern Asian/Middle Eastern events. After studying for an M.A. in history at Florida State University, she became a professor of English, Computer Science and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). She is author of historical articles and lectures on Asian/Middle Eastern history. Ms. Hannon is also an accomplished opera singer and has performed in both Europe and the United States. She resides in Orlando, Florida with her husband and two sons. She is currently completing an historical novel due for publication in late 2002.
