Robert D. McManes
Born December 24th, 1953 in McAlester, Oklahoma.

Attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University for 2 years and majored in English Extensive military studies in depot level electronic repair, communication and non-commissioned officer leadership courses.

Began military career in 1975 with Oklahoma National Guard, joined regular Army in 1979 and was honorably discharged in 1983, enlisted in the United States Army Reserve in 1985, retired in 2002.

Current occupation is Technical Writer.

Authored four volumes of poetry, Reflections in a Poets Mirror, Love from a Poetic Point of View, Poetic Sighs, and We Ain't in Kansas No More.

Married and currently living in rural Kansas.
