About the Author

ABOUT THE AUTHOR A native of Atlanta, GA, Terrance Alexi has traveled the southeastern U.S. coast as well as the Bermuda Triangle many times. His deep love for the sea, with its mystery and folklore, has brought forth an appreciation for the great stories of the ocean. After years of searching unsuccessfully for a great Bermuda Triangle novel, he finally decided to write one himself. Inspired by writers like Charles Berlitz, the author of several books about the Bermuda Triangle, and Stephen King, author of many great fictional thrillers, Alexi set out to capture the best of both worlds. Through the Vortex combines the mystery of ancient civilizations, the lure of hidden treasure, the high-tech development of man and the age-old pursuit of love. The result: the great adventure story of the sea he has always sought. A graduate of Georgia State University with an English major, Terrance Alexi's background includes radio and the computer tech field. Spare time interests include the outdoors, the beach, boats, lighthouses and the unexplained.
