About the Book

A collection of short stories and poems that tell a tale of growing up on the wrong side of the tracks of life and seen through the eyes of two authors. The words expressed in this book are from the heart, the eyes and soul of a desire to live a fruitful life. Regardless of their past, a struggle to gain a positive perspective are what the authors attempt to reveal. But with this book the reader is at least able to see for themselves that life for some is less than desirable, and with the stories and poems; their interpretations will open the door to healing and that no one is ever really alone.

About the Author

C. L. Collins, a four-year veteran of the Air Force has been writing since 1997. He received a Written English Professional exam certification on April 1, 2000. He maintains a web site for writers and children issues. He's also an amateur artist in oil painting. He currently resides in Georgia.

S. J. Hale is earning her BA in English/Literature. She has received a certificate from the Writer's Digest School for fiction writing. She enjoys music and cross-stitching, and currently lives in New Jersey.
