Tom Hand, back from a summer at sea aboard a sea scalloper, chooses to drop football and join the fledgling UMass crew team. About the Author
Charlie Sheldon grew up in western Massachusetts, rowed in high school and college, and spent twenty years in the East Coast fishing industry. Since 1990 he has worked for the Port of Seattle where he is currently the Managing Director of the Seaport Division.
