About the Book
Evenings at the Claremont: Berkeley, California 1951. The first postwar crop of college men and women are graduating, falling in love, building hopes and dreams. Natalie Perrault and Gary Morgan find themselves drawn to each other on the dance floor of the glamorous Hotel Claremont. But the music fades for Natalie, Gary and other friends as they struggle to find their true vocations. Can love sustain them when life itself becomes a challenge?
About the Author
Georgia Walkup married her forester husband, Robert, while both were students at U.C. Berkeley. She is also the author of a novella, Within Sound of the Campanile. She has lived most of her life in Oregon where she enjoyed teaching.
