About the Author

James Cunningham grew up in St. Louis, Mo. While receiving a Christian education, he studied Latin for 14 years, and obtained a BSC degree at St. Louis University. He completed additional study at the Cambodia Royal Academy and Stanford University. He has worked as the senior executive of various financial institutions. He has traveled to Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, England, Ireland, Scotland, Turkey, India, Germany, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. These travels, experiences and memories contributed to the romantic ardor present in these writings. A number of his poems are in publication, and he has received an award for his poetry. He lives in Texas and is currently working on his first novel.
