Born in a land where the physical traits of her heritage marked her as a barbarian from the dragon ships, Tasia's fondest wish was to be accepted as normal. Her mentor, Merlin, was able to sense something unique about the girl. He understood how difficult it would be for the child to be like others when she was favored by the gods.
