Joan Olufsen-Spirited daughter Joan goes off to school in Fargo, North Dakota, and soon captures the attention of ambitious James Lagner. The two soon marry and James begins his bid for political office. After he wins a seat in the state legislature, the couple moves to Bismarck to continue his political career-and embark on a life neither of them ever imagined.

About the Author
Keith Zacharias grew up on the farm hacked from the wilderness by his great-grandfather in the 1850s. Earned a degree in economics and worked on a master of computer science. Became a Certified Internal Auditor and certified computer auditor. Traveled the world for 15 years for two of the world?s largest corporation installing and utilizing audit software developed the team he led. He is currently retired living in Houston Texas.
