About the Book

Raised on two continents, author Marta Sutton Weeks describes her road to the seminary against the backdrop of a family that has been caught up in Mormonism and non-Mormonism. She details her re-awakening to a God she remembers only dimly from childhood. Along the way, she tells how she experiences an unanticipated revelation relating to her husband, a father-in-law who preaches about saving energy long before any liquid fuel crises, and a dedicated spiritual director who always seems to ask the right questions.

About the Author

Marta Sutton Weeks attended Beloit College and Stanford University where she earned a degree in political science. At age sixty-two, she became an ordained priest. Currently semi-retired, Weeks helps out at St. Andrew?s Episcopal Church in Miami and also serves as vice-chair of the Board of Trustees at the University of Miami.
