About the Book

Auburn Jackson was alone, ignorant, and pregnant, but not unBibled. She had sinned and was punished with a brain-damaged child to raise in the impoverished wilds of West Virginia. About the Author

As a youth, Gene Lovell spent his summers on a farm in Knapps Creek Valley. As an adult, he summered with his wife, Jackie, on Hatteras Island. Married fifty-three years, he now lives with her on Delmarva where he fights boredom and cancer.
