Moments for Music began as a series of 60-second radio spots. Each one-minute script contained a brief story or anecdote about a musician, an interesting musical fact, or an explanation of some musical term. Now, those scripts have been edited and put into a book with the same title.

Carlton Hughes taught high school and college music for 20 years. He now works as a business writer, but works every spare moment researching the history of music for the Morrison Foundation for Musical Research, Inc. He also writes music articles for magazines and other books about music and musicians.
