About the Author
John Bilney grew up in Barnsley, Yorkshire and Blackpool, Lancashire. He emigrated to Canada in 1953. After a long, career in advertising, he is now a free lance writer. He has a collection of poetry and has written columns and short stories for The Toronto Star, The National Post and other publications. He has completed two screen plays, as yet unproduced, and a collection of humorous vignettes about life in a small Ontario town. This is his first published collection of short stories. John Bilney lives in Port Hope, Ontario.
