About the Author

Barbara Fitz Vroman's previous novels, Tomorrow Is a River (co-authored with Peggy Hanson Dopp) and Sons of Thunder, were both recipients of The Milwaukee Journal Leslie Cross Award presented by The Council of Wisconsin Writers. She teaches writing at The Rhinelander School of Arts, The Clearing at Ellison Bay, Wisconsin, and other seminars. Her most recent book is Small Celebrations, an account of her life as a truck driver's wife in rural Wisconsin
