Stories is a collection of twelve stories, some of which received literary awards following their original publication in Spanish.

In this book, the reader is invited by the author, José A. Valentino, to re-visit many scenarios of powerful emotions, some of them imaginary, some of them experienced by him while traveling throughout Latin America as a troubadour, guitarist-singer...

In Stories, there are stories of love, intrigue, mystery, science fiction, music, and, yes, racial discrimination in many of its most cruel manifestations.

About the Author

José Valentino was born on a Caribbean island and has traveled throughout Latin America as a guitarist and singer. More recently he has received awards for his stories published in various magazines in Mexico, New York and Los Angeles. Valentino also has won awards for his short cinematic scripts in Australia, Canada, Malta, Spain, England and the United States.
