About the Book
Political debate has been reduced to the "spin" of politicians, ignoring scientific fact and reason. Vested interests dominate America's political landscape. A solution to this dilemma is feasible with the use of reason and a consistent vocabulary of political words.
America is a republic, not a democracy. Our greatness is based on a sound constitution that defines the architecture of the Republic and a respect for the rule of law. Historically, we prized laws that defined what citizens may do and minimized must do laws. Power-hungry politicians and their sycophants are rapidly eroding the foundation of this magnificent social structure. After 200 years of wear and tear, our government is in critical need of repair. This book describes why and how.
About the Author
After receiving a degree in theoretical physics from Yale, Mr. Willis began a career applying scientific methods to solve complex and ill-defined problems. As a consultant to government and industry, he resolved issues in systems ranging from air traffic control to thermonuclear war and authored many technical papers and patents on these subjects. He founded and managed a small company to continue this work. After 14 years in the California Aerospace Industry, he returned to the Washington, D.C. area to continue consulting and analyzing the largest and most ill defined system of all—the government.
