About the Book
A new generation of Soul Seekers have come of age. Reverend Will McCormick has returned to Seattle, Washington, after a devastating dismissal from the leadership of his church in California. Questioning his faith, he reluctantly follows his older brother's advice to apply for the position of Chaplain in the roughest penitentiary on the West Coast. Will's interest in the position increases when he meets a beautiful young woman (Brin Alexander) who will be attending college just minutes away in the charming little town of Walla Walla.
Brin's search for self and life beyond the strict confines of her adoptive parents leads to an adventurous and controversial relationship between she and the wayward preacher. Together they face not only the demons of their past, but come to realize the battle they continually fight with an invisible and deadly enemy.
Good and evil battle in both spiritual and physical manifestations throughout their relationship and behind the steel bars of the penitentiary itself, leading the couple to recognize the powers of darkness and its limits. Returning are Capt. Elliott Townsend, Dr. Nevada Rain-Townsend, and the rest of the lovable characters first introduced in The Soul Seekers, to complicate this heart-pounding and compelling adventure.
