About the Book

The unexplained death of the school district's business manager draws Adam Graham, the new superintendent of the Tempe School District, into a world far removed from his leading a major school district in the education of students. A world filled with conspiracy, political intrigue and violence.

Adam is compelled to find the killer of his colleague and to unravel the conspiracy that led to his death.

Debbie Barkley, a local attorney, has become friends with Adam. Their relationship turns to love as they work together to solve the mystery.

The discovery that the tentacles of organized crime reaches into the school district and threatens his and Debbie's very existence, pushes Adam to increase his efforts to expose the shocking reasons behind the conspiracy and those involved.

About the Author

Author Biography:

Thomas A. Parker was born, raised and educated in Illinois. He received his Doctor of Education degree from the University of Illinois. He served for twenty-five years as the Superintendent of Schools in three different school districts in Illinois and Arizona.

He and his wife currently reside in Arizona.
