About the Author

Elizabeth Lee Payant graduated from the University of Michigan. While in graduate school, she married a widower with nine children. A childhood spent in the wilds of Michigan?s Upper Peninsula gave her a lifelong love of nature and all its critters, which she passed on to her new family. At present Lizlee lives in Sun City West, Arizona, with her husband Bill and is now stepmother to 14 stepchildren.
