About the Author

Joy Drinkwater?s mother laid a cuckoo in England?s Royal Nest, and this ?bird? grew up to be active in many fields. She lived in a privileged society and was educated in England, Switzerland, and America. She rode in international horse shows, was an actress, editor, legal secretary, librarian, teacher, and writer. Her husband of fifty years, died a few years ago. She has two sons and two grandchildren. She lives in Auburn, Alabama.
