About the Book

Meet Shirley Ann Taylor. She has seven kids. She's married to Oscar Taylor. He has Schaeffer beer and Gordin's gin. She has dreams outside of the St. Nicholas Projects. L. Nixon McConnell has fifteen years of advertising copywriting experience and holds a Master?s in Writing degree from DePaul University. A native New Yorker, L. Nixon McConnell currently lives with her husband and son in Chicago, Illinois.
