About the Book

Ten years ago, Jake was faced with trying to identify a killer who was taking the lives of some of Wayland's young adults. Now once again he finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation, but this time some of his closest friends may be involved in the murder. As he works to remove suspicion from his best friend, Scott, he begins to realize his friend is keeping something from him. He's driven to uncover the truth, regardless of the consequences, but is shocked when he does. After his wife and three children are put at risk because of his involvement, Jake knows he must be very careful and perhaps not trust anyone completely. He seeks the help of a private investigator who has questions about even Jake's guilt or innocence.

About the Author

Linda F. Holder is a native of Lexington, Mississippi. She moved to Cleveland at the age of nine and lived there until after her graduation from Delta State University. After a twenty-five year career in the field of education, she retired from the Clinton Public School District in 1992. The Friendship Hammer is her second book.
