About the Author
Janet Levine grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 1984, she and her family moved to Boston, where the author presently writes, teaches and lectures. A life-long activist, she has spent 30 years working in writing and education. Levine has appeared often on television and writes for such publications as the New York Times, the Boston Globe, and the Yale Review.
