About the Book
Have you ever felt unwanted?
Uncool?
Unworthy?
Unfaithful?
Unloved?
Don't worry. So have I.
We all have.
We live in a broken world, and sometimes the only example of Jesus Christ that we have, the Church and its people, fails to do its job.
This book is a step outside of the Christian Spirituality box. In a society where everyone is frantically attempting to earn their way into bigger and better things, the church has adopted the idea that we must earn our way into Salvation, as well. Of course this isn't what's preached: we all know that we have to believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths and we're good to go. However, on a subconscious level we feel that we must clean up our act before we walk into the sanctuary; we must be near perfect in order to be Christians.
As you can imagine, this causes problems.
But the truth of the matter is that God accepts us as we are. Jesus loves us regardless of what we've done and what we will do in the future, and he's invited us to fearlessly enter into his family.
