Mama and Mr. Moody was awarded the Blue Ribbon by Christian Life Magazine in the 1950's. Other stories appeared in several publications throughout the years. The last four stories are set in the Hudson River Valley in the 1700's. The Winding Horn and The Bow are more recent in writing and similar to short novelettes.
About the Author
This is Dorothea Boyd Wolfe?s third book. She is the successful author of two novels, The Bad Man of the Hudson and The Hog Money Mystery, plus other published short stories and articles.
She grew up in the Hudson River Valley near Albany and received Christ as her Savior through the ministry of Evangelist Homer Hammontree when she was nine years old. Later, she graduated from the Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, and became a pastor?s wife and mother of five children. Following the death of her husband, Rev. James H. Boyd, she married Dr. Raymond Wolfe of Akron, Ohio.
She is a member of the Christian Writers? Guild. Through the years she has served her Lord in Ohio, Manila, Guam, Micronesia and Kenya.
