About the Book
Freddie Arzt is a piglet transformed into a human. Orphaned at 9, she is taken in by her mother's friend's sister. She has trouble adjusting to her life in a low middle class section of Boston and when she grows up, she marries a prince from an imaginary country of Bumbukwe. After the initial period of happiness, both find the other partner hard to deal with. The book is a tale of their triumphs and disappointments.
About the Author
Andrew Bell-Fastov holds a Ph.D. from Boston University. Among his publications are books Ethnic Cleansing, The Role of Migration in the History of the Eurasian Steppe (both under Bell-Fialkoff at St. Martin's Press), Voices from the Comproom, and articles in Foreign Affairs, Nationalities Papers.
