About the Author
Maryanne Raphael grew up in Ohio, studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, lived in New York city where she taught at the New School for Social Research. Unofficially she ran a half-way house for runaways. her book Mother Teresa, Called to Love, was recently published.
Jenifer Wolf resides in New York City, where she teaches and writes. She has maintained her interest in runaway youth, and was a volunteer at Covenant House, a shelter for homeless youth. She recently did an article for Salem Press/Family Life Encyclopedia entitled “Runaways & Juvenile Delinquency.”
