About the Book
Richard X. Heyman is a 60's person -- not a person in his 60's, but one who embraced the decade of the Twist, Dylan, The Beatles, drugs and sex (not necessarily in that order, but close). A Baby Boomer through and through, with the flashbacks to prove it. Born and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey, he started playing music at ages seven and has never stopped. He is an acute observer of his era and here recounts hilarious stories of his life in rock'n'roll. Plenty of names are dropped, mostly of the more successful songsters of the day that he stumbled across in his quest for rock stardom, so total strangers will stay interested. But whether you're a bonfire Boomer or a member of one of the generations on either side, you'll laugh out loud at Heyman's wild tales of music, love and mischief making as a young rock musician in the 1960's and 70's.
