Searching for a replacement for Mitch, his old friend from his airline days, Kate Flanders arrives on the scene. Townsend’s old feelings for Kate begin to simmer as the day for the next space flight draws near. But then things unravel, a sudden death, then a betrayal that Townsend could never believe would happen.
