About the Book
Observations In Verse-Book One is a collection of sometimes humorous, sometimes whimsical, sometimes nonsensical, sometimes serious (but not often) view of some of the things of life and its symptomatic surroundings, written in verse to the cadence of a soft beating drum and an off-key marching band. A collection of non-serious verse for the person that views life in a too often too serious perspective. To live life with blinders to the offbeat nuances that are often part of our precious and limited time on earth is to lead an underprivileged existence. Life of itself is a most serious affair -but it need not always be devoid of humor and the ability to poke fun at it (and ourselves) every so often. In this light, we trust the readers of this book will enjoy and hopefully appreciate the author's simple attempt to entertain in this fashion and with this point in mind. A smile a day can help keep sad things away.
