About the Book

A collection of poems, Witness is a powerful spiritual autobiography. It is at once a dirge and a hymn, by turns an alleluia and a requiem.

Moving through shadows and nightmares into the laughter and tears of a life's passages, it also explores a playful reverence for nature, chronicles family memories, offers petitions to the universe, and triumphantly celebrates an indomitable spirit.

About the Author

Victoria Joyce is a third generation San Franciscan. A former teacher, she is now a student of the arts as spiritual healing. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and a Master of Divinity from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley.
