About the Author
Elizabeth Howard Hourihan, author of Awakening the Silence and Two Ladies from Boston, assures the reader that she is the daughter of a Protestant Yankee father and an Irish American mother, thus impartial in viewing Boston’s cultural standoff. Ms. Hourihan is married, has six children, seven grandchildren and lives on Cape Cod.
