About the Book

We can become so preoccupied with the information, speed and violence of our environment that we ignore our most creative inclinations. The life that the world insists we live can get in the way of the life that we are born to live.

This is not a book of long-lost secrets found in an earthen jar under a sand dune in the Gobi Desert. Feeding the Wolf provides simple insights, reminders, suggestions, brief exercises, some laughs and a diatribe or two designed to help you adjust your viewpoint so that you can separate the thoughts that open you to your possibilities from the thoughts that just get in the way.

The book will help you live in the present moment; carve out time and space to renew yourself and change the rules that don’t work for you. It will show you how to take advantage of your suffering and live with imagination, generosity and humor. It provides guidance on how to direct your intelligence toward activities that take you where you want to go. And it will remind you that, regardless of how lost you might feel from time to time, you always have access to the deeper level of intelligence that lies within you.
