About the Author

Lorretta Lynde was raised in the fourth generation of her family on Montana's Crow Indian Reservation. Her Magpie Odyssey series emerged from this rich heritage and that of her own family of storytellers. Her previous books, The Magpie Odyssey and Mountain Medicine, were enthusiastically received, and led to this prequel.
