So how do we get the pure heart, obviously you can’t pour it in, can’t work for it as that contradicts the word, so how? This will be the gist of this book.
The heart is a place where only truths set. I think this is important as we must explain truth. Truth is just as important as the heart itself. Webster states truth is the quality or state of being true; agreement with a standard or rule. Truth, everyone wants it and everyone hunts for it, but what is it? Truth is simply a “thought concluded“. When we think on anything and finally conclude on that thing rather the thing is right or wrong, you have just decided on truth. Let’s give an example. Someone may say hey did you hear about Jake, they said he cheated on his wife. Now you know Jake, and he is a powerful man of God. You may ponder and finally you may say no way. What happen in that process? You thought about it and concluded that is a lie. Everyone one of us face these thoughts of some kind daily. And our hearts are waiting for truths to fill it daily. That’s why the heart of man is critical to life. And this is the primus of the heart. Again the heart is a place where only truths set. Now some will say wait, do you mean the only thing that can be in the heart is truths, and the answer is yes, truths as you know it.
