About the Author

A native of Minnesota, Jerry D.C. Nelson joined the Navy in 1950 to serve in the Koren war. His tour was sailing along the Eastern Coast aboard a Destroyer Escort. . As an Electronic Technician, he was responsible for the repair of the electronic equipment aboard his ship.

After his Navy hitch, he went to Milaukee School of Engineering to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He married, settled down in Minneapolis and became the father of two children, Dan and Julie.

Nelson spent twenty-five years working for Univac (now Unisys) designing main frame computers. He has always been very active in his community and his hobbies are reading technology books, photography and building models.

His thesis in college was on magnetism, but he always felt that it was incomplete.

With a lot of reading, particularly about parallel worlds, he took a different path by putting together mechanical theories instead of the normal way by math. This opened the doors to the Fifth Dimension which lead to many other discoveries like what magnetism really is.
