About the Author

This book is the harvest of my observations and reflections on the American Society, inspired by the events that occurred during a period of three years, following the tragic event of SEP, 11, 2001. Proud and grateful to be a member of this great Society, still I raise some grievances on the following three major themes that dominate our lives: 1-The preemptive war politics adopted by the Bush’s administration to combat the modern form of terrorism. 2-The institutionalized religions, with emphasis on my beloved Christianity that has become void of the spirit of its divine founder. 3: The sacred relationships that have become a form of commercial transaction (my failed latest marriage is the perfect example to endorse that statement). Engulfed by wars (external and internal), I have become convinced that a true peace and happiness lie within a pure heart and a clear mind. After 16 years of confinement in a seminary run by the French Jesuits, I have renounced a promising future in the Catholic Church, to explore the crude and cruel pleasures and trails of the secular life. The death of my first wife (whom I loved since she was at the innocent age of 7), has forced me to abandon my pursuit of a Doctorate Degree in Philosophy. Those pleasures and trials are recorded in my 20 manuscripts (the majority of my novels are in French, 4 in English, 3 in Arabic and 1 in Spanish). Mr. James Lardner has read my rejected novel (A THOUSAND GATES TO HELL) AND).Impressed by its literary, but not commercial value, he wrote an article, qualifying it as an ‘epic saga’.(Washington Post, Sunday, October22, 1978).
