About the Book

In this book you will learn fascinating stories that the media has silenced. These stories make Watergate seem trivial and are a must read for every American.

You will learn: 1) Proof that had we privatized Social Security, our seniors would be millionaires; 2) The fascinating story of new technologies that have kept us safe since 9/11 and how we stopped all eighteen attacks on the United States; 3) What happened to the WMD; 4) Why carbon dioxide can not warm the atmosphere, because it is too heavy and sinks below ground. This is science that proves the current governmental legislation to be a monumental mistake; 5) When, why and how the media began to hide stunning stories from us.

Most important to all of us, the author explains why our factories are closing. The economic devastation of this far exceeds any short term economic crisis. The author gives a simple economic explanation of how factories create all wealth in a society. For this reason, the wealth of our nation is at risk.

No politician, no economist nor professor has the first hand experience of this gas measurement expert who helped factories comply with the original Cap and Trade rule that was implemented in California in 1993. Factories began closing and have been closing ever since. The Cap and Trade rule regulates factories by forcing them to buy “credits” to burn more gas than their assigned targets. The word “Cap” is a misnomer because the assigned targets are continually declining to a total reduction of about 70%! Natural gas is obviously harmless as we breathe its by-products while we cook over our natural gas ranges. Residences burn about one hundred times more natural gas than our factories. The author explains that a comparable Cap and Trade rule to regulate residential heating systems would more aptly be called, “Reduce and Freeze to Death and Pay While You Do It.”

About the Author

Jim Moodey was a successful industrial real estate agent in Los Angeles, California and later managed a gas measurement and testing company which held licenses by California Department of Weights and Measures. In his real estate career, Jim specialized in relocating factories. When factories began closing in the 1990's, he began to take notes for his fascinating essay on the subject (Chapter 6). In his next career at the gas testing facility, Jim learned the physics of gas measurement and taught classes at gas utilities. During this career, Jim observed the continued closing of factories due to the costly regulations of "Junk Science." Jim has intimate knowledge of the true reason our factories are closing and selling their machinery to Chinese buyers. It is this process that is having a profound impact on our balance of trade, the value of our dollar and the ultimate wealth of our nation. Jim’s penchant for research has led to enlightening essays on extremely relevant subject matter. His essay on Junk Science prompted this publication which merges other essays about truly stunning information that has been muted by our media.

Jim is a liberal turned conservative who brought his liberal ideals with him and calls it, "a wonderful place to be." He makes the case that the media has driven a wedge of misinformation between liberals and conservatives, without which we would find many of our problems can be solved. Jim’s experience ranges from college war protester and Grand Canyon River Guide to working with factories and executives of industry. His perspectives are interesting and educational for all of us. He lives in Southern California with his wife and daughter.
