Black Tears is a work that pours out the hurts of the heart, and grasp the often over looked and unseen things of the soul. Black Tears, although poetry and story, it counsels the reader in overcoming the many innumerable pains of every day living, and plunges the reader deep into the depths of things sometimes too deep for simplicity to explain. It grabs him and holds him captive until Blacks Tears is finished.
About the Author
Dr. Akeam A. Simmons has been writing poetry and short stories for over twenty years. He is a well known Alabama poet-with poetry that often times unveils the deeper things of a man's heart. He is also a highly educated pastor with doctorate degrees in several disciplines. He has been pastoring for over 27 years, and at present, pastors Liberty Baptist Church in Alabama. Although he is a native of Boynton Beach Florida, he has been residing in Alabama since 1979.
