They sat down at a side table with a small couch and two armchairs. Walt Stanton took one of the armchairs and Irwin sat down on the couch. Holly Stanton came up to them and stopped behind her brother.
Irwin put his folder on the table. He had a notepad in it and some very exclusive pens.
“There’s no need to take notes” Holly Stanton said and nodded toward the folder.
Unlike her brother, the vice president seemed uneasy. Her face was tense and she barely looked at Irwin as she sat down in the other armchair. Irwin had rarely seen her so tense and for a moment he wondered if he was going to be fired. He could not for the life of him see why, but you never knew with Holly Stanton.
Since she did not want him to take notes Irwin put away the folder on the couch next to him. He noticed that his hand was getting sweaty. The palm left an imprint on the cover of the folder.
Holly Stanton did not seem to notice how nervous he was, but Walt did. He took the lead in the conversation.
“We got something very important to talk about, Irwin. You’ve done a lot of good work for Holly over the years and that’s why you’re here now. She trusts you and so do I.”
Irwin relaxed a bit. His job was not the topic of the meeting. But he was still a bit cautious. Holly Stanton was so nervous that there was no doubt in Irwin’s mind that he was about to hear something Earth shattering.
He had done a lot of things for her, things that were so bad sometimes that if the general public ever got to hear about it, they would demand her impeached, even if it was before she became vice president.
Each time he had done such things he had been called in for an early morning meeting like this.
But never before had Holly Stanton looked so nervous.
“I’m always there for you” Irwin said quickly, looking at her.
For the first time since he walked in the room she actually looked at him. Her face was tense, her lips tight and her eyes cold as steel.
Irwin had a bad feeling about this one. His armpits got sweaty and he moved a pen he had in his right hand to his left hand and back just to ease some of the excitement.
“Irwin” said Holly Stanton quietly. “Do you remember our little meeting in Denver the day before Independence Day in 2009?”
Irwin’s forehead wrinkled as he tried to remember the occasion.
“Yes…” he said. “Uh… yes, ma’m, I remember…”
“Do you remember the group of people we met with?”
“Yes, I do. It was the inner circle of the Bilderberg group. It was the first meeting of the One World campaign. You discussed how best we can promote a world government.”
“We’ve been working on that ever since” said Walter Stanton. “I’ve been chairman of the working group. We’ve been advancing the plans for a world government for years now. And we’re almost there.”
He paused, as if to make sure that Irwin paid very close attention to his next words.
“Irwin…” he said slowly. “Do you remember how many people came to the meeting in Denver?”
“Yes” Irwin said, confused by the questions. “There were twelve people there, including me.”
“Well, there was one more participant” Walter continued. “Someone you did not meet. Only four of the others met him.”
Irwin waited. He felt a sting of excitement. There was no doubt Walter Stanton was re-vealing a very, very big secret.
“And… who was that?” Irwin asked.
Walter Stanton and his sister exchanged a quick look.
“Ambassador Hreutz, envoy for the Grand Leader of Zoh’moor.”
“Who, sir?”
“Irwin…” Holly Stanton said, with an eerie calm in her voice. “We are ready to take over.”
Irwin took a deep breath and raised his eyebrows.
“Well… ma’m… with all due respect, haven’t we done that already? I mean, we’re in the White House and the president isn’t exactly working…”
Walt Stanton chuckled.
“We’re not talking about that, Irwin” he said.
“I’m not following you, sir” Irwin admitted.
Holly Stanton explained:
“We’re talking about creating a world government.”
“But… how?” Irwin asked, sensing that there was something earth shattering coming down the pike.
With chilling calm in her voice Holly Stanton spelled it out for him.
“Our friends are coming” she said. “The Zoh’moorians. They’re going to help us.”
“The… who, ma’m?”

KB11-4-3 Earth Assignment Progress Report
Federation Universal Time Date Nomo 7372-09
Local Time Date KB11-4-3 May 24 2013
Chief Assignment Officer Tahm Qaar
KB 11-4-3 “Earth” assignment detail is now fully operational. All agents have been deployed and information retrieval is progressing as expected. Assignment headquar-ters is protected by Level Four security measures. Two cloaked satellites are in orbit and we have parked three cloaked surface-to-surface transport vessels in the upper atmosphere.
Our mission to investigate Earth for official contact is in full progress. The informa-tion environment is more favorable than initially expected. There is an abundance of local resources, even a fully developed information network called “the grid”. The com-puter technology here has leaped in recent years but crystal-based computers are still not available. We expect to be independent of AWO support from now on.
Agents have blended in well. The physical similarity between our agents and Earth-lings is strong. Physical differences are limited to different shapes of ears – Earthlings have somewhat larger elliptical ears – and there is a smaller variety of skin color among Earthlings. But the blending-in has been hassle free with the exception of my rookie agent, Goryell, who is a bit too interested in Earthling women. I have had a talk with him and he understands my concerns. On the upside, he has given us all a good overview of the culinary resources here. This should not be underestimated: it has helped us get comfortable in our daily lives and allowed us to stay away from our (still tasteless) AWO field meal rations.
We are based in the nation called United States of America, abbreviated USA or America. The USA is a federation of states. We are located in the state of New Mexico.
Our political evaluation group reports a complex pattern of nations and alliances across Earth, characteristic of a civilization at Brix Evolution Index step seven. The leadership of America appears to be among the most advanced and our preliminary evaluation is that a first contact should be with the American government.
Addendum - Important!
Just this morning our signal monitoring satellite picked up an atypical transmission from Earth. It was directed toward coordinates in the outer rim of sector KB, toward the edge of the galaxy. The transmission was powered by particle boosters, a technol-ogy that is one or two steps above Earth’s technological evolution according to the Brix index.
Earth has no off-world outposts. I therefore suggest that they may have made contact with a world located further out in this sector, who has shared their communications technology with Earth. Publicly accessible media resources here contain no informa-tion about any such contacts. Therefore, my conclusion is that such contacts are hidden under massive layers of secrecy.
Our databases have no information on the part of sector KB that borders the edge of the galaxy. I therefore recommend that a space mapping unit be deployed to this sector immediately.
A recording of the signal is attached to this message.
End report.
