About the Book

A dragon has stolen the king’s gold and it must be recovered at all costs. Sacha, a young girl who lives in the village, is rumored to have a dragon friend. Torbin, the young castle guard, is the only one who witnesses the crime being committed.

Accompanied by Sacha’s faithful dog, they embark upon a journey to find and return the gold. Along this fast-paced adventure they overcome perils, meet new friends, and discover a growing bond for each other. They learn about Mother Nature and the effects of disturbing her delicate balance.

The Firestorm Heart is the story of how we interact with each other, different cultures, and our environment. This story conveys what all parents would like to tell their children about life. About the Author

Lor Duk lives in Montreal, Quebec with her husband and two children. In addition to writing, she does oil painting, watercolors, and pottery. She and her family love the great outdoors and enjoy hiking, kayaking, and skiing in the Adirondacks.
