Grays' Plutonium

Grays’ Plutonium is a science fiction political parable typifying the struggle between War, Technology and God. Over the decades, we have seen mankind’s fascination with aliens blossom from “curious tech“ to a habitual desire for the next best thing. War drives the wheel of technology but it is politics which determines how war will evolve, and thus dictating which technology should prevail. The concept of God presents an enigma when discussing war and/or technology. Since Biblical times, the Tower of Babel continues to represent elements common to all civilizations, while either challenging God’s existence or attempts to gain His allegiance to do harm to others. Do I believe in little “gray” beings? As a retired Navy electronics tech with more than three years working on the flight deck, I have never seen an alien, a UFO or anything remotely resembling a radar anomaly. In my experience, governmental secrets breeds its own rumor control, where war and technology justifies the existing popular propaganda. While civilizations strive to destroy God, it is us, ordinary citizens who must decide which is more important, God or politically driven technology. My name is John W. McSherry, a retired Navy aviation electronics technician. As a young child, I suffered from the 1960’s educational stigma of “learning disabled, hyper-active, ADD and ADHD. I failed the fourth grade, but later diagnosed after extensive testing at Georgetown University. It was determined I had dyslexia. I wasn’t suppose to graduate high school, primarily based on pre-determined educational delinquency patterns. I discovered after constant disappointment, determination and willpower, dyslexia offers its own alternative thought process which continues to elude education today. Science has always been a large part of my life. I graduated college and became a public school science teacher in the late 1970's. Science represents both real world concepts and pictorial analysis, the two fundamental ingredients needed for dyslexic knowledge assimilation. The concept of words, letters and numbers represent the traditional educational avenues of learning, which unfortunately adds to the frustration of many dyslexic sufferers. Technology is not the “end all to be all”. Science teaches us to evaluate, analyze and judge based on available truth and sometimes, faith. My faith in God seeks to understand the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, where science owes its existence to God’s creation. It is mankind’s convoluted concept of Big Science which attempts to destroy God in order to perpetuate the propaganda, “the end justifies the means”. War, politics and strategy are those ingredients which comprise of mankind’s worse attributes; but to understand man’s fall in the Garden of Eden, we must be able to differentiate between the road less traveled, and the road to no-where.
