Take a moment and evaluate your life. Sit back and think. Are you where God wants you to be? Are you using your talents, or are you burying them in the ground? Are lives being changed because of you? Would people miss your shining light if you left? If your answer is no, then ask God to show you His will for your life. I love the words to a song by FFH, “There’s a mountain in the way. Lord move, or move me. ”
If your work is a problem, pray about it: “Lord, change my situation at work. Either move that mountain of negativism—the mountain that seems to be blocking my promotion, the mountain of deadlines—or move me, Lord. Move me to a different job, or give me a different outlook. Let me feel your strength and be less affected by the tension that surrounds me and more affected by the inner peace of the Holy Spirit. Help me to know with certainty that my life is Yours to use however You desire. I fully want to be in Your will. Keep me in Your will every day.”
