About the Book
The book is a compilation of mainly comedic short stories illustrated by the author. In addition, he has appended, in a centerfold, scores of paintings, drawings, sculpture and cartoons that he has created over a fifty-year span. Most of the stories in the book are based on the author’s personal experiences as a child growing up in The Bronx and as a married dermatologist living in Westchester, New York, and spending summers in Westhampton Beach, Long Island, with his two young children. He also includes stories about being a dermatologist in mid-town Manhattan and an artist and art teacher when he retired to Florida. Several of the short stories are totally off-the-wall and seem to bear scant relationship to any of his life experiences.
