About the Author

The Qualification to write the book “Satan’s Eyes”. I am a retired accountant who has had a lifetime desire to become an author, but until nearing the end of my professional career never had the opportunity to indulge my passion. I have had a deep interest in the Drug Industry since one of my Sons ruined his young life with this evil . There is a moment of self truth in the book when a Manager employee imported Cocaine from Mexico, using the name of one of my Companies. In so doing he ruined and finished my business career and cost my Family a lot of money. However the theme to the book isn’t based around that deliberate act of sabotage that ruined my reputation, rather it’s a spoof on what happened. The evil Drug industry has ruined many young and not so young lives, what is the final answer does anyone know? Personal Notes: My life as a tax specialist and company analyst was a very busy one, and it wasn’t until retiring at the age of 72 did the chance to write full time become a reality and it has been a pleasure I have really enjoyed. At junior school and college it was the writing of 1,000 word short stories that was my favorite school activity, and I even enjoyed the writing of business letters, a very abbreviated for of the art of writing indeed. It started when as I was getting close to retirement; and filled in my time at the office just sketching out what was to be the finished products now. For a time retirement almost drove me crazy from boredom until writing became an outlet of interest, and suddenly the boredom was gone. It s not a continuing ache , sometimes when one sits down to write nothing will come, I have found when this happens its best to leave well enough alone and just forget writing for a while. I have been told by others this is just writer’s block and happens to most would be authors, and in fact established ones. The truth be known I often wish that writing had been my lifetime career, but the one that filled my life until 2007 has been a fulfilling one, in many ways during ones march through life. The experiences enjoyed during my travels worldwide was a big help in finding the words for what I have written within my books. Personal life: I live on the East Coast of Australia in the Central Coast of NSW, in a small middle class area within a few minutes’ drive from the beach. My wife and I live alone, but some of my own Grand children come out to stay during school holidays. My wife and I have no children although we both have children from a previous marriage. I was educated in New Zealand then came to Australia in 1970, and been here since apart from having worked in the USA and Europe from 1997-1992 as a missionary, but also doing Financing work for developers. I came back to Australia in 1992 intending to go back to the USA but never did, my Visa as a Missionary seemed to give me flexibility in my coming and going everywhere I travelled. In the course of my work it was my privilege to have been to 18 different states in America and quite extensively in Europe. Since returning to Australia I have worked in the Medical profession as a financial advisor to quite a few medical professionals, and run a medium sized development business.
