About the Book
Marion and Mayina lived in a small village nestled at the base of the mountains, leading a pleasant and easy life amidst the goodness and the humility of the people. They were sisters with parents who loved and adored them. When their parents pass away, they are left to run the hotel that had been run by their parents previously.
One day, Mariano Avolea, darkly handsome and mysterious, arrives at the hotel and the tranquil lives of Marion and Mayina change forever. Mayina, the dreamer, hopes that her older, more practical sister, Marion, will fall in love with him. Marion doesn’t understand why her sister is so interested in this man.
Then, something happens that will change the lives of the sisters forever. As secrets are revealed, they cannot imagine how events will twist their destiny, bringing them to an unknown and frightening place in their lives. They will confront circumstances, secrets, and events that will coalesce to disturb the routine of their lives forever.
