The Power of Unity

This book is meant to be a simple assessment of the world as it was in the past, where it will be in the future, and where it has been from 1929 to 2010. It’s not possible that there could ever be a comprehensive writing on world lifestyles in such a simple book. What has been done is to give a bird’s eye view of events, past and present and how the world will be in the future, only the major players in future development have been looked at. The changes that we can see and that have evolved over the millennia irregardless, of wars famines and pestilence is what we have now. What we want to know; is what will happen in the future as the changes occur and we emerge into a new world. That new world has got to bring a new order, even if the reader is an atheist or even an agnostic we all know there are tremendous changes coming. The intent is not to write a history lesson quite the opposite, what we have done is write a novel type book with a simple glimpse of our world in camera. Medicine is moving ahead very fast and life expectancy will explode, this will be worldwide, and the advances in medical science is too big for a comprehensive story here. The problems associated with a world that will soon grow to a population of over eight billion; will include the need for a full global infrastructure to match, and is a book on its own. Information that is very fast now, cannot get faster, but it will get easier and more efficient, the new creative systems that are involved, are mostly under development already. The problem here is the control of information; as people begin to feel the stress that comes with so much new knowledge, and knowledge without understanding has little value! Transport of all types is in the process of evolving and will in the near future have to compete, fast trains, big airplanes, safe cars free of fumes, flying solo without wings, green clean factories and renewable energy will further clear the atmosphere! In the future the development of Space travel and the hoped for ability to colonize a distant planet, will become a small possibility not a crazy dream. Science will challenge the veracity of Spiritual Faith; and attempt to replace that with Self Faith. This will create a lot of confusion and further exacerbate world tensions, as the religions deny the findings of the scientific reality, but we believe science and religion is compatible. The harvesting of renewable energy will be the most important industry in the world, as the major economies must learn to develop nuclear and renewable energy. The possibility of cleaning up the present dirty energy, we use such as coal and oil is another source for the future that the big companies are working with. The need to balance the energy supply to avoid future cost explosions created by skyrocketing oil prices is vital to keep the world’s financial stability more secure.
