I found out that, obeying God is one of the most important and the most difficult thing to do. I came to the realization that without obedience, it is impossible to please God and accomplish his will. It is almost impossible to inherit and advance the Kingdom of God as well, if we cannot obey the ultimate authority. When we don’t obey we can become disobedient. When disobedience is present in our lives, sin is birthed, and destruction may follow. Even though we know God’s way is the best way, and the consequences of disobeying can be detrimental to our mind, body, and spirit, everyday we are faced with the choice of whether we will obey or disobey. We still struggle in this area. From the front to the back of the church we all find ourselves struggling in the area of obeying God. Since obeying is crucial to our destiny, the enemy knows and fights us hard in this area. He knows that if we obey God, we won’t sin, and we won’t die. The enemy knows that if he can get you to disobey, then he knows he can come in and steal, kill, and destroy everything God has for you. Basically, the enemy knows that you can lose everything God has for you; since the enemy lost everything, he is a thief. In order for the thief to have possessions he has to steal. Nothing belongs to the enemy, he is broke, busted and disgusted. He was cast down from Heaven with nothing, and that is why he tries hard to decieve us, he wants to steal what God has given us. Disobedience was the root of Satan’s eternal downfall, and the root cause of his loss. He will forever and a day be in hell, and eternally separated from God. If the enemy would have obeyed God, and did what God instructed him to do, then he would not have committed such sinful acts. I don’t know all that God instructed the enemy to do when he was a praise and worship leader in Heaven; but if he would have done what God told him to do, I don’t believe he would have had room to follow his nature and commit the sins he did. There are rules in Heaven as well, Job38:33 “Do you know the laws of Heaven?” Therefore he disobeyed God and disobedience was the root of his downfall, and the accuser wants it to be ours. Disobedience is like a silent killer, sometimes you and or your neighbors won’t recognize disobedience until major symptoms have occurred. Some disobedience is obvious, but others can be the simple things God instructs us, and we take them lightly thinking it is not important. The good news is everything God instructs us to do is always important. Our obedience can be an answer to someone’s prayer, and God presented us the opportunity to answer the prayer. Moses’ obedience allowed the Israelites to be freed from slavery, they cried out to God, and God gave the mission to Moses. So let us always remember if God takes the time to tell us to do something it is always important. This book is designed to give you knowledge and understanding in the area of disobedience towards God. I hope you find helpful examples, scriptures, and truths about the effects of disobedience. I know if we take hold of the power of obeying God, we will receive every single thing God has for us, in the proper time, and in abundance. About the Book
The Cost of Disobedience, is designed to give us an understanding about how God feels about his instructions, and how important it is for us to obey them. However, this topic is a sensitive subject to talk about, and is directed to every human being, especially those who believe and has a relationship with the Lord Almighty. This subject is sensitive because we can't blame or look to anybody but ourselves in regards to our choices. No one can obey God for us, it is something we have to do deal with individually. It is also the very thing that we can hide from other's and appear as if we are pleasing God completely. None of us want to hear that we are being disobedient to anything, and or anybody especially God. However, obeying God is something we need to hear and be reminded to do, since disobedience appears as a silent blessing stealer; and is the core reason why so many of us have not received our promises, even though we are doing a lot of things God has instructed us to do as believers. Remember obedience is better than sacrifice. This book is not designed to condemn us but to give us knowledge about God, and truth about the consequences of our disobedience towards God. God wants us to walk away after reading this book with a strong desire and drive to obey him, so we can receive everything he has promised. God said if we love him, then we should follow his commands. So obeying God is even an act of worship and reverence to God. It shows God, and proves to ourselves that we truly love him. God wants us to always know that he loves us, he is our father, and anything he ask of us is for our benefit. God not only instructs us, but he helps us, we don't have to do it alone, and apart frm God we won't beable to obey him, and be the person he has designed us to be.
About the Author
Keisha Dream is a servant of the living God, and a faithful christian. She is the youngest of eleven children, the granddaughter of the late Reverend Herbet Young Sr. whom pastored two churches, and a grateful mother of two beautiful children. Keisha Dream has overcome some difficult obstacles, that God amazingly aloud to work out for her good, giving her the ability and the drive to finally obey her calling. She ran away from her calling for a while, feeling she was incapable or not qualified to work for the creator. However After being a victim of domestic violence that almost took her life, she finally decided to obey the Lord, when he spared her life, and gave her a new beginning. Since her decision to obey God she has been on the move, releasing her first gospel solo album titled, "The Promise," and now releasing her first book, "The Cost of disobedience." Keisha Dream gives God all the credit for her success, because it was God who gave her the ability and the resources to accomplish his mission for her life. She is not concerned about fame or fortune, however she is concerned about soul winning, and sharing the love of God, and obeying God. She hopes that she can bring encouragement to all, and a light to dark places. She wants everyone to know that we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. If she can complete a book, record an album, work full-time, be a faithful member of her local church, and active in the lives of her two children as a single mother, then you can too can fulfill what God has given you to do. Keisha Dream's knowledge, insite, anointing, and wisdom comes from God and she refuses to take credit for anything, because everything belongs to God, and he is the reason why she is the woman she is today. It was the Lord Jesus Christ who laid his life and saved her, and gave her the ability and confidence to help advance the Kingdom of God, through the gifts and talents that God has enabled her to have. With God all things are possible
