About the Book

Julia was a little farm girl and she wanted an exciting life in the city. She arrived in the big city of Memphis when she was about twenty five years of age. She was barely able to rent a room for a week and had no means of employment. She had been trained to be a personal maid but she had no connections for this kind of job. She overcame all of her obstacles by securing a waitress job and therefore meeting the Impeccable Man.

I am presently an author for iUniverse Publishing Company.

My life today as a widow and living alone in my home in Barstow, California is a twenty four seven existence. In all respects I should have retired at age sixty five and lived a quiet life. This did not happen as my husband and I travelled and enjoyed a lively life together. He passed away in 1998 leaving me to live alone.

I am currently involved in church work, various organizations and writing books in my spare time. My first book was published in 2007 when I was eighty four years of age. Since then I have had two more books in print.

My life has been rugged at times but on the contrary it has been exciting, educational and I have been closely associated with some great people that I have met.
